After connecting three years ago on the final Warped Tour, the union of horrorcore has finally come to fruition with menacing collaboration.

Prepping for the September 10th release of their full-length, Unlikely Prescription, the dynamic duo of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide continue their domination as the mighty Twiztid continues their prolific roll.

Following the success to the tune of nearly 3 million streams thus far among the trio of previous singles in “Corkscrew“, “Perfect Problem” and “Rose Petal,” Madrox and Monoxide have assembled an elite team of creative cohorts for their latest selection from the album in “Envy”.

Showcasing Twiztid’s penchant for fluid wordplay and rock centric aggression, the tandem enlisted Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills as well as the fretwork of Fozzy guitarist Rich Ward and their drummer Drayven for the Johnny Andrews (Three Days Grace, Halestorm, All That Remains) produced track that augments the heavier side of the legendary horrorcore crew.

The highly-anticipated Myles Erfurth-directed visual for “Envy” premiered via Loudwire on May 27th giving fans their first glimpse into the collaboration that have been some three years in the making. Ice Nine Kills and Twiztid were both on the final run of the Vans Warped Tour and after connecting on the road, the creative union between the horror enthusiasts was only a matter of time.

Speaking with Loudwire regarding the project, Madrox weighed in, “It’s been a good long while since we’ve filmed a video with a director. Myles has an eye for film and a cinematic vision, so I rest assured we’re in good hands.”

Monoxide added, “Once again I think we have out done ourselves. We’ve created something that we think you’ll truly be blown away byWe are thrilled to have Spencer on the track, we knew this was something that needed to happen when we met in 2018”.

Reiterating their instant connection as tour mates and cohorts, Charnas offered his take on the obvious synergy of the Twiztid and INK. “Ever since we shared the stage with them on the last Warped Tour, we knew that at some point we would need to collaborate with the like minded horror fanatics known to the world as, Twiztid. This sick idea has finally become a reality…”

In addition to the release of the music video for “Envy,” Twiztid has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the making the visual. The collection of unscripted footage gives Twiztid/INK fanatics candid insights from Madrox, Monoxide, Charnas and the music video direct himself Myles Erfurth – in a concise presentation that is equally well-pieced together as it is entertaining. The short can be seen below.

“Envy” from Twiztid featuring Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills is currently available via preferred DSP. Pre-orders for Unlikely Prescription from Twiztid will be available June 25th via their own Majik Ninja Entertainment.
