The Divine Ascension Tour will see support from Interloper and Cognitive as the Bay Area outfit marks the release of their fifth studio album, Empyrean.
A brutal union of tech death mastery is in the works as San Fransisco Bay area aggressors Fallujah have announced plans for a North American tour with Australian contemporaries Psycroptic on the The Divine Ascension Tour.
The run 32-date run launches September 11th with a SoCal kick off at the historic Whisky A Go Go on the famed Sunset Strip. The tour is set to coincide with the September 9th arrival of Fallujah’s fifth full length release via Nuclear Blast Records, Empyrean.
The album arrives as the first delivery of new music from the band since 2019’s Undying Light. Already earning high praise and lofty comparisons to the band’s heyday in 2014’s The Flesh Prevails, the album’s first single in “Radiant Ascension” showcases all of the technically proficient brutality that has become the calling card of the Bay Area collective.
Boasting a reconfigured lineup that includes primary songwriter/guitarist Scott Carstairs and drummer Andrew Baird, bassist Evan Brewer formerly of Entheos/The Faceless and Fallujah’s newest acquisition in vocalist Kyle Schaefer the band are set to charge confidently into the next phase of modern death metal mastery.
Enlisting Interloper and Cognitive to round out a touring bill of some of the most promising names in their respective lanes, founding guitarist and songwriter Scott Carstairs expresses the anticipation Fallujah is brimming with as the tour kick off quickly approaches.
