Imperial Triumphant Reveal “Tower of Glory, City of Shame”

Posted by Corinne Westbrook in News on July 8, 2022

The flex of metallic extremity includes a gnarly visual directed by the band’s own, Steve Blanco.

Experimental soundscape masters Imperial Triumphant are barreling toward their forthcoming release, Spirit of Ecstasy, with their latest video for “Tower of Glory, City of Shame.” A low-fi feel, the video was directed by the band’s very own Steve Blanco. Spirit of Ecstasy will be released on July 22nd and can be pre-ordered HERE.

Speaking on the video, Imperial Triumphant states: “Monolithic events engineered throughout the ages compel great shifts in consciousness. Seemingly coincidental and synchronous points forever alter the landscape. Pigeons gather one by one. Civilization moves through the gateways and in hindsight the obscured vision becomes clearer. Still unknown, however is the truth as all is an illusion with much loss of life and zero accountability. At a certain point there are too many pigeons for the control’s infantile stories to be what they claim.”

In addition to a European headline and festival run, the band is also gearing up to hit the road supporting Zeal & Ardor with their North American tour. The tour begins on September 11th in Brooklyn, New York and wraps up on October 7th in Berkeley, California.
