The new take on the classic video includes never before seen footage filmed in 2000.
The year 2020 has culminated for Deftones with the release of their 20th anniversary ode to their seminal White Pony album with the remix project that has been two decades in the making.
Black Stallion has finally arrived and the ambitious reimagining that pooled the production talents of the likes of Mike Shinoda, Robert Smith of The Cure, DJ Shadow, Purity Ring, Squarepusher, Phantogram, Clams Casino and more was released with a bit of added spectacle.
The band has released the official music video for the Tourist remix of their ageless single, “Change (In The House of Flies) and coupled with the offering of the album is a new take of the iconic music video that delivered never-before-seen footage that was filmed in 2000.
In addition to the dose of nostalgia, the band dropped a stash of visuals for the remaining seven tracks that had yet to revealed from the project including the Phantogram remix of “Street Carp,” Salva’s take on ‘Rx Queen,” the Blanck Mass version of “Elite,” DJ Shadow’s treatment of “Digital Bath,” “Feiticeira” from Clams Casino, “Pink Maggit” from Squarepusher, and the Trevor Jackson spin on “Korea”.
