The band’s latest campaign, Soul Revolution, is due out October 28th via Better Noise Music.
Emerging Texas outfit Fire From the Gods are currently hitting the pavement hard as one of four on the current Five Finger Death Punch, Megadeth arena tour. Paired with Mongolian folk metal heroes The Hu, FFTG have gone on to solidify themselves as one of the genre’s most exciting new school purveyors of modern heft.
Coupled with the beginning of the massive tour, the band have confirmed their next full length studio campaign with the announcement of Soul Revolution, the band’s new album set for an October 28th drop date. Enlisting producer Erik Ron (Godsmack, Motionless In White, Panic! At The Disco), Fire From the Gods had the tall task of following up their acclaimed 2019 full length, American Sun, an effort that not only earned universal praise but propelled the band into the conversation of the genre’s best emerging voices.
To better introduce Soul Revolution, Fire From the Gods have delivered their first single and an accompanying video for the track, “Thousand Lifetimes”. Earning a reputation for offering insightful, poignant commentary in their music, the band’s latest effort again asserts that FFTG value substance over style points.
On “Thousand Lifetimes”, frontman AJ Channer speaks on the dynamic of family, championing mothers as the backbone of our greater society. The vocalist explains,“I came from a broken home and society has a way of turning its back on people like me. I watched my mum along with some very strong women in my life sacrifice everything to keep their families above water. That strength helped build me into the man I am today. The video also serves as a homage to those mothers who have lost their children to the harsh realities of our world. I wanted to honor them and the thousands like them because a mother’s love is a force to be reckoned with. This goes out those warriors in our lives.”
Fire From The Gods will continue on the road with Five Finger Death Punch, Megadeth, and The HU well into the fall. The run closes out with a finale in Salt Lake City on October 15. See below for a full list of dates and purchase tickets – HERE
