Lacuna Coil Releases Video For Reimagined Version of “Tight Rope” From ‘Comalies XX’ Album

Posted by Corinne Westbrook in News on July 20, 2022

Marking the 20th anniversary of the album, the band have reconstructed the tracks for a 2022 refresh.

Lacuna Coil will release their “deconstructed” and “transported” version of their critically acclaimed third album Comalies on October 14th, via Century Media Records. The album, which is an undeniable classic in the metal world, is a reimagining of Comalies, not a mere re-recording.

“This is not a reboot or a spin-off or anything like that,” says Lacuna Coil vocalist Cristina Scabbia. “We just wanted to give these songs a 2022 dress and see how this guy or girl who was born 20 years ago would still look fucking slick in 2022.”

Lacuna Coil debuted the new version of the track at the Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival in Mansfield, Ohio. The band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album with a special, one night only concert on October 15th at Fabrique in Milano.

Domestically, Lacuna Coil will tour North America this fall along with Uncured, Butcher Babies and Lions At the Gate. The run spanning the month of September will also include an appearance at Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Virginia on September 10th. Tickets can be found – HERE
