Rob Zombie’s take on The Munsters and Andrew Dominik’s take on Marilyn Monroe hit Netflix, The Sanderson Sisters return on Disney+ and more this week
NOW STREAMING:
‘The Munsters’ (Netflix)
Rob Zombie’s feature film adaptation of the classic 60s sitcom The Munsters has finally arrived! It’s kitschy fun to the extreme – a colorful and playful throwback that’s genuinely funny and endlessly impressive with its Halloweentown style aesthetic and designs. It’s a tribute to the sitcom that clearly comes from the heart, with Zombie being a self-confessed lifelong fan of the series that has been wanting to make this particular movie for decades.
‘Blonde’ (Netflix)
Discover a life both known and unknown in this boldly imaginative film from writer and director Andrew Dominik that explores the complicated life of Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe. Based on the novel of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates, Ana de Armas delivers a stunning performance as the tragic American superstar in what is far more psychological horror than biopic.
‘Hocus Pocus 2’ (Disney+)
It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century Sanderson sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy reunite for the live-action, long awaited sequel to the perennial Halloween classic, which brings back the delightfully wicked Sanderson sisters for more comedic mayhem.
‘Entergalactic’ (Netflix)
Ambitious artist Jabari attempts to balance success and love when he moves into his dream Manhattan apartment and falls for his next-door neighbor. The greatest love story you already know but have never seen. Or heard. This is Entergalactic, the television event and 10th studio album from Kid Cudi.

Chickie (Zac Efron) wants to support his friends fighting in Vietnam, so he does something wild—personally bring them American beer. What starts as a well-meaning journey quickly changes Chickie’s life and perspective. Based on a true story.
‘Hostages’ (HBO Max)
On November 4, 1979, Iranian student activists stormed the U.S. embassy in Tehran, taking over 60 Americans hostage. What was planned as a 48-hour sit-in to protest American imperialism, ballooned into an international crisis and 24/7 media event that would last 444 days. With never-before-seen archival footage and revelatory new interviews with the American hostages and Iranian hostage-takers alike, the series is a gripping chronicle of one of the most dramatic international deadlocks in American history, a deep dive into the geo-political history that led to the crisis, and an exploration of the political fallout that reverberates today.
‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’ (VOD)
