The Hundreds’ ‘Family Style’ Festival Made Its Triumphant Return to Fairfax

Posted by Harris David in Fierce Bites on October 11, 2021

After a year and half of Drive-Ins, ‘Family Style’ returns to what made it one of the best food festivals around.

The Hundreds’ second Family Style Food Festival went down this past Sunday after taking a year off due to COVID. Returning to the Mecca of LA street wear culture -the Fairfax District – after hosting a couple of drive-in movie style events during the pandemic, the fest came back strong, combining food and fashion. Ben and Bobby Hundreds invited folks back to CBS Television City on the corner of Beverly and Fairfax to celebrate the culture with amazing food and exclusive merch.

Some of LA’s best restaurants and even some national stars were showcasing beautiful and tasty morsels.  Howlin’ Rays was slinging their perfect Nashville hot chicken sandos in the VIP area alongside Tacos 1986 with their beautiful brisket taco. While Chef Ray Zone and the pound for pound best taquero in the world, Joy Tostada, had VIP locked down, the GA crowd was where the magic was happening.  Restaurants like Jon & Vinny’s, Mariscos Jalisco, El Ruso, Uncle Paulies, Burgers 99, Love Hour, Amboy, and too many others to list were holding it down.
