Marking it’s 12th edition, Welcome to Rockville assembled more than 100 artists covering the spectrum of heavy rock. Again asserting their position as one of the most beloved festival banners in the domestic U.S. the scope of the event spanned some four days across four stages and touted a full four days anchored by some of the biggest bands on the planet.
Among the top line draw, heavyweights including Slipknot, Rob Zombie, Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence, Pantera, Godsmack, Deftones and the first show of the year for TOOL – all submitted colossal performances.
Additionally, the festival showcased an emerging generation of superstars, with highlight entries from the likes of Knocked Loose, Ghostemane, H09909, Malevolence, Wargasm, Vended, Ayron Jones, Tallah, Poostacy, Nova Twins, and Sueco all leaving everything onstage for the Rockville faithful.
Rockville also ensured the legends were given their due, presenting powerful sets from mainstays like The Cult, Suicidal Tendencies and Alice Cooper, in tandem with global road dogs like Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium, Converge, Motionless In White, Chevelle, Sepultura, Kreator, Suicide Silence and more bolstering the bill.
Functioning as the kickoff to the stateside festival stretch, Welcome to Rockville lived up to its namesake and transformed the Daytona International Speedway into the epicenter of rock music revelry.
