The voices of Straind and Godsmack come together for an intimate, unplugged, side-by-side live experience.
As one of the first major drive-in rock tours to be planned across multiple cities across the nation, the pairing of Godsmack’s Sully Erna and Staind’s Aaron Lewis will be a uniquely intimate event for fans of two of rock music’s most prolific frontmen.
The 13-day run of shows will feature both Erna and Lewis sharing the same stage and performing their biggest hits together for a phenomenal night of music.
Aaron Lewis shared his excitement about the joint venture and about getting back to performing onstage. “Sully and I have been friends for 25 years. We’ve been talking about doing something for the last 10 years,” said explained Lewis. “The time has finally come. I couldn’t be more excited to be bringing this to you in such strange times.”
Erna added, “Me and Aaron Lewis? Onstage together…acoustic? Do I need to say more? Just don’t miss it! It may never happen again.”
The unplugged-esque event will feature featuring a special evening of hits, covers and conversation with the anger/songwriters appearing together on stage.
Event producer Danny Wimmer Presents has a well-established working relationship with both artists and has created a live performance environment that will not only work to bring the energy of concerts back, but will do so while promoting social distancing and a safe fan experience.
