The news also includes the reveal of a forthcoming single, “Handshake with Hell” set to drop next week.
Swedish metal giants Arch Enemy have made it official and revealed news that their 11th full length studio album is complete and is set to arrive via Century Media Records later this year.
The band took to their social platform with an announcement video that detailed the the album will be titled DECEIVERS – reiterating the theme of the initial single that arrived late last year and broke the band’s four year stretch without new music in “Deceiver, Deceiver“.
The announcement has been steadily building as Arch Enemy followed their initial single with a secondary reveal to close out 2021 with guitar-driven “House of Mirrors” that saw axeman Michael Amott shine. In addition, Arch Enemy kicked off the year with the news of their co-headlining run along with black metal provocateurs Behemoth for the North American Siege Tour.
As for the specifics of the album, the band shared only that the pre-sales for DECEIVER would begin next week and would be accompanied by a new, third single with the track, “Handshake With Hell”.
