Earlier this month, PA metalcore collective August Burns Red unveiled their next full length studio project with the introduction of Death Below due out March 24th, 2023 via SharpTone Records. Coupled with the confirmation of the new album, the band debuted the first single with the anthemic “Ancestry” featuring none other than Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage.
Now the band has further detailed their quest for domination in the new year with the news of a landmark 20th anniversary tour set to begin in February of 2023. The extensive run will consist of two legs beginning February 15th in Silver Spring, MD and pausing just after the March 14th date in Charlotte, NC. The tour resumes April 13th in Philly stretching through May 12th where the tour will host a finale in Quebec, QC. Joining August Burns Red on the anniversary run are The Devil Wears Prada and Scottish sensation Bleed From Within.
“Where does the time go?,” said ABR guitarist JB Brubaker. “I can remember playing 250 shows a year and touring in our van like it was yesterday. We are so grateful to have had the support of our fans year in and year out for two decades. We thank you, and cannot wait to celebrate with you!”
KNOTFEST Presale runs through Thursday November 17th until 10pm local.
