Earlier this month, fans of Avenged Sevenfold got the news they had been waiting years to hear – the band was set to release their eighth studio record Life Is But A Dream and they would celebrate the album’s arrival with two arena shows in both Los Angeles and New York.

Dropping the introductory single, “Nobody”, A7X reiterated their their rank as one of rock music’s best in the game, combining their signature big guitars with a element of the experimental, delivering a first glimpse that underscored their evolution as songwriters.

Now, the band have revealed their first leg of extended tour dates with the announcement of their ‘Life Is But A Dream’ North American tour. Set to begin July 18th in Camden, NJ. the 13-date jaunt will see several dates in Canada – eight in total with a finale in Vancouver at Rogers Arena.

Avenged has also recruited Alexisionfire for the run of dates. The rock stalwarts will be out in support of their first studio effort in more than a decade with the release of Otherness, last year.

While tickets for the tour are set to go on-sale to the general public starting March 30th at 10am local time, the band is using Web3 to ensure the fans are the ones that actually get the tickets and not the scalpers. Teaming with Ticketmaster, A7X will use a specially-designed NFT available exclusively for their Deathbats Club members as a redeemable token that will unlock access to purchase pre-sale tickets.
