The band’s eighth studio album, ‘Life Is But a Dream’, lands June 2nd and will include a pair of arena shows to celebrate the release in both Los Angeles and New York.
The wait is over. Avenged Sevenfold have finally revealed the first serving of new music from their eagerly awaited eighth studio album, Life Is But a Dream, due out June 2nd of this year.
The first single, “Nobody” underscores the band’s willingness to explore the experimental, only to reemphasize their rank as revered guitar heroes with a sweeping solo from Synyster Gates that showcases his prowess as one of the best in the game.
Paired with a stunning stop-motion visual helmed by Chris Hopewell, the track begins the band’s latest campaign in what will no doubt be a banner year for the Southern California rock music champions.
Coupled with the news of the band’s forthcoming album, Avenged Sevenfold has also confirmed their first headlining shows since 2018 with a pair of arena performances set for June 9th in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum and June 23rd in New York City at the iconic Madison Square Garden. Falling In Reverse along with Pussy Riot have been tapped as openers for the show.

The shows add to the band’s upcoming live itinerary which includes major festival appearances throughout the year. Having already been confirmed to headline Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL: this May, then Sonic Temple this summer in Ohio, Avenged Sevenfold has also been confirmed for this year’s Aftershock Festival this fall in Sacramento.
