Bad Wolves preview forthcoming EP with new track “The Body”

Posted by Ramon Gonzales in News on July 1, 2022

The new music arrives ahead of the band’s summer trek on the Rockzilla Tour with Papa Roach, Hollywood Undead and Falling In Reverse.

Still riding a groundswell of momentum from the release of their goliath third full length LP, Dear Monsters, Bad Wolves have maintained a prolific creative pace in staying diligent with their time in the studio.

In between touring stints, the band has also released their new EP If Tomorrow Never Comes in MarchThe EP’s title track enlisted the added flair of Ice Nine Kills vocalist Spencer Charnas and quickly rose to the Top Five in modern rock radio – the band’s 7th such entry. The track will also appear on the soundtrack for THE RETALIATORS, a Better Noise Films production due out this fall.

Now, the band has introduce their latest endeavor, their first with the most recent addition to the Bad Wolves family in freshly acquired guitarist, Max Karon. With plans of releasing yet another extended play later this summer, Bad Wolves have unveiled the first showing of new material from their recent studio sessions with the single, “The Body”.

Working to continuously expand their sound, the band explain how the track was about experimentation and exploring something sonically separate from anything the Bad Wolves has done in the past. “When we were writing this song we had a goal of trying new things,” said drummer John Boecklin. “The slap bass and clavichord instantly was new territory for Bad Wolves. It feels good to know this track sounds like nothing we have ever done before. It’s a fun track that feels like a mix of Faith no more with a dash of Daft Punk. Enjoy!”

The single serves a precursor to their upcoming run on the Rockzilla Tour. The North American trek will see Bad Wolves team with Papa Roach, Falling In Reverse, and Hollywood Undead for a comprehensive collection of dates, before the band heads overseas for a European run with Volbeat, Napalm Death, and Skindred from October 15 to December 9th. All current list of dates can be found below.
