Partnering with premium streaming platform Moment House, extreme metal’s most provocative practitioners will celebrate three decades with three unique sets.
Among the artists that have truly embraced the streaming platform and utilized it as an extension of their creative prowess is the Polish powerhouse of Behemoth.
During the height of the pandemic in 2020, the band executed one of the most discussed livestreaming productions in the universe of heavy music with ‘In Absentia Dei’. Combining their audacious artistry with the beautifully blasphemous backdrop of an abandoned church, the performance was regarded as one of the most engaging and entertaining of the era.
Aiming to one-up their standard of showmanship, the band is taking the opportunity to celebrate their 30th anniversary by again taking to the livestreaming platform on a global level. Partnering with premium streaming service Moment House, Behemoth will mark three decades of extreme music dominance with ‘XXX Years Ov Blasphemy’. True to the band’s M.O., the production boasts three separate sets in three different locations, with each set offering a dedicated focus to each decade of the band’s catalog.
Enlisting the vision of director Dariusz Szermanowicz of G13 Production House, the streaming event begins with Behemoth’s earliest exploration of pagan and black metal sounds from ‘Pandemonic Incantations’, progressing into their international breakthroughs with ‘The Apostasy’ and ‘Evangelion’, and culminating with the band’s most recent triumph in 2018’s ‘I Loved You At Your Darkest’.
Behemoth’s orchestrator and creative mastermind Nergal, spoke of the ambitious celebration. “30 years of blasphemy and bring on 30 more! What better night than All Saint’s Eve to celebrate this most unholy Anniversary than with us, as we present the most ambitious project of our career to date, ’XXX Years Ov Blasphemy’. Legions, when I say this is the ultimate cinematic Behemoth experience, I cannot express how much I mean that. Another huge risk for us, but as always, we go feet first and push our limits. The result will be a sight to behold. We’ll see you in The Forest…and more!”
