The native American black metal force embarks on the Decibel Magazine Tour with Dark Funeral, Cattle Decapitation and 200 Stab Wounds this month.

At the helm of one of the most celebrated extreme metal releases of last year, Native American black metal enigma Blackbraid delivered Blackbraid I to universal acclaim with the likes of Rolling Stone, Metal Hammer UK and Decibel all hailing the album as a comprehensive artistic achievement.

On the strength of the release, Blackbraid began a succession of sold out shows and would earn a spot opening the 2023 edition of the Decibel Magazine Tour bolstering a massive line-up that included Dark Funeral, Cattle Decapitation, and 200 Stab Wounds.

Recently, Blackbraid confirmed the second installment in the self-titled series with the announcement of Blackbraid II due out July 7th. Along with the announcement of the album, Blakcbraid revealed an inital glimpse of the Adrian Baxter-designed artwork along with the full tracklisting.

Adding to the rollout of the highly-anticipated album, Blackbraid has now unveiled the first music video from the second installment. Shifting from atmospheric to antagonistic over the nearly 14-minute epic, “Moss Covered Bones on the Altar of the Moon” is cinematic in scope and stunning in execution.

Simplifying the creative core of Blackbraid, the second edition follows the same artistic MO. “Blackbraid is a solo indigenous black metal project from from the depths of the Adirondack wilderness creating music as raw and powerful as the mountains from whence it came…

The news of Blackbraid II and the latest delivery of “Moss Covered Bones on the Altar of the Moon” precedes the start of the Decibel Magazine Tour which kicks off next week in Southern California. The 23-date stretch will also conclude in Los Angeles with a finale on June 10th at the Regent Theater. Tickets for the tour can be found – HERE
