Supporting sets on the run will include performances from Black Satellite and ONI.

Two of heavy music’s most respected, accomplished and enduring frontmen are set to team up this year as Dani Filth and his cohorts in Cradle of Filth, along Dez Fafara and his brethren in Devildriver are set to top the Double Trouble Live US tour.

The run is set to stretch throughout the month of March, with the first leg covering mostly Southwest territories. Starting out in Tempe, AZ the 12-date first leg will round out in Albuquerque, NM on March 26th. Ensuring no lulls on the jam-packed bill, supporting sets from raucous rock duo Black Satellite and progressive metal powerhouse, ONI.

Devildriver architect Dez Fafara spoke about his roots with Cradle of Filth and how the tour is very miuch a full circle moment for him.

“I have been a fan of Cradle of Filth since the early 90s, and over the years I’ve not only had the opportunity to become great friends with Dani and the band, whom are all wonderful people, but also to manage their career alongside my wife Anahstasia, who is CEO at Oracle Management.

When presented the opportunity to go out on what is DevilDriver’s first shows in almost three years and co-headline with the mighty Cradle Of Filth on this first run of what is now a world tour, it could not be passed on! I’m looking forward to not only crushing stages with DevilDriver, but also watching Cradle of Filth nightly on the side of the stage. Get the fuck ready – this tour will be the one not to miss this year and tickets will go quickly! Get the fuck in the pit – this one will be vicious!”

Of course, Dani Filth offered his take on the legendary pairing. “Cradle Of Filth are maniacally looking forward to this two-pronged headline assault with fellow noisemongers DevilDriver. Frontman Dez has been a friend for years and a brilliant manager to boot, and to head out on the road for what promises to be the first leg of the ‘Double Trouble Live’ world tour with him and the band was an opportunity far too good to pass on.”

The run follows Cradle of Filth’s successful jaunt with Danzig in 2022, trekking in support of their lauded 2021 full length, Existence Is Futile. As mentioned, the tour marks the first run for Devildriver in three years, and their first since the release of their 2020 effort, Dealing With Demons I. Details regarding the second installment of the series are expected to arrive sometime this year.
