Vocalists from Suicide Silence, Emmure, Bodysnatcher, Angelmaker, Cabal, Crown Magnetar, Paleface, Carcosa and more are featured on the track.
Fast-rising deathcore die-hards Distant have dropped a mammoth new single “Argent Justice” featuring 16 (yes, SIXTEEN) guest vocalists from fellow deathcore bands such as: Suicide Silence, Emmure, Bodysnatcher, Angelmaker, Cabal, Crown Magnetar, Paleface and more! This insane undertaking comes slightly less than one month from their third studio single, Heritage, due out February 10th, the band’s first release on new label, Century Media.
This single follows previously showcased scorchers in “Exofilth“, “Human Scum“, and “Orphan of Blight” – the four of which showcase the band’s skilled balance of precise musicianship and destructive power.
Alan Grnja details the new track: “The inspiration for that came from animated shows in the 90s where Spider Man would team up with X-Men and stuff like that! We did that on a track in 2020 called ‘Argent Debt’ where we had five other people. We were inspired by being on tour in America and so many of us jumping up onstage and playing together. Every vocalist on this track sounds unique. It’s a bright, colorful rainbow of Deathcore singers!”
“This is the perfect Distant record,” Alan adds of Heritage. “I want it to be a genre-defining album in the same way ‘The Cleansing’ was for Suicide Silence – I would say this album is for us.”
And here is the full list of every vocalist featured on the track:
Soon after Heritage’s release, Distant will join Bodysnatcher, Angelmaker, and Paleface (all guests on “Argent Justice”!) carving a path of destruction across the US for The Big Time Battle Tour. Tickets are available HERE.
