The free concert celebrates the band’s milestone 10th album and continues their streak of successful streaming events.
Punk stalwarts Dropkick Murphys will mark the release of their 10th full-length studio album ‘Turn Up That Dial’ on April 30th via their own, Born & Bred Records.
The celebration of the latest album will now include plans of a livestreaming event and performance that will give a global audience the opportunity to commemorate the landmark occasion in the decorated career of one of the genre’e most prolific and powerful contributors.
Partnering with Death Wish Coffee, the May 1st broadcast will feature a completely new set with songs with selections from the band’s new album, in addition to a variety of fan favorites. The streaming event follows the band’s Dropkick Murphys St. Patrick’s Day Stream 2021…Still Locked Down, which amassed more than a millions views. Respectfully, Dropkick Murphys have asserted their mastery of the platform securing the #3 spot on industry authority Pollstar’s “Top 2020 Livestreams” chart with their watershed moment in their Streaming Outta Fenway livestream, which tallied more than 5.9 million viewers.
For the latest installment of the band’s livestreaming performances, Dropkick Murphys will give fans the option to make a donation which will provide the band the ability to continue to keep their staff paid during this Covid layoff. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will go to charity.
‘Turn Up the Dial’ arrives April 30th and follows the wildly successful introductory singles in “Middle Finger” and “Queen of Suffolk County“. The Ted Hutt-produced effort is currently available for pre-order – HERE.
