Dropout Kings Drop Trap Metal Rager “Hey Uh”

The breakout, Grammy-nominated mosh pit champs return with an anthem guaranteed to get floor in motion.

After their recent consideration for a “Best New Artist” Grammy, Phoenix based Dropout Kings is back with another rager “Hey Uh.” Taken from their upcoming album Riot Music, anticipated for a summer 2022 release via Suburban Noize Records, the track takes it back to their trap metal roots.

“It’s a rage anthem,” says vocalist Adam Ramey. “It’s a song about feeling unstoppable to the point of arrogance, which in turn, is a metaphor for social political programming that happens throughout America which causes us as a society to sometimes be looked at and stereotyped in that light by others on the outside.”

The band’s last single “Virus” spent 12 weeks on the Billboard Top 40 Mainstream Rock Radio Charts, with its Linkin Park-leaning sound, and garnered them mainstream success.

Dropout Kings will join forces with VRSTY and Guerrilla Warfare for the “Born A Menace Tour” next month. The outing takes off on February 2nd, 2022 in Austin, TX and continues through the end of the month — all dates are listed below.

“We’re excited to hit the road with our dudes in VRSTY and Guerrilla Warfare,” comments Adam Ramey from Dropout Kings. “I can’t wait for people to see this dope lineup. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this run, it’s gonna be one for the books. Come through and kick it with the boys on the Born A Menace Tour!”

“Honestly I’ve wanted to tour with Dropout Kings forever now so this is a best case scenario for me,” says VRSTY’s Joey Varela. “What better way to kick off the new year than a sick ass tour with an insane band. This one is gonna be special.”

G from Guerrilla Warfare adds, “Extremely excited and grateful to be back out and playing live again for the first time in a long time. Got a new set with some new songs dropping soon, can’t wait to make lots of new friends in new places we’ve never been.”
