Earlier this month, the buzzworthy passion project that touts Simon Neil and Mike Vennart of Biffy Clyro, Naomi Macleod of Bitch Falcon and legendary percussionist Dave Lombardo under the moniker Empire State Bastard, confirmed their debut UK tour.
Announcing a trio of intimate shows at the end of the month in Glasgow, Manchester and London, the band also teased the arrival of new music in the form of “Harvest” – the pulverizing introduction that is as heavy as it is highly-anticipated.
Now, the band have shared the news that they have signed with Roadrunner Records for their forthcoming debut. Inspired by elements of sludge, primal hardcore, traditional thrash and the towering riffs of stoner metal, an idea that stemmed from sharing extreme music has now materialized with a roster of elite contributors.
Having sold out all of their initial three shows for later this month, Empire State Bastard have additionally confirmed their festival season plans with appearances at Download Festival, HellFest, 2000trees and ArcTanGent.
