Blackbraid will begin their first North American trek on the Decibel Magazine Tour with Dark Funeral, Cattle Decapitation, and 200 Stab Wounds.
Delivering one of the most dynamic extreme metal releases of 2022, Native American black metal force Blackbraid’s Blackbraid I received universal praise with the likes of Rolling Stone, Metal Hammer UK and Decibel all hailing the album as a crowning achievement.
On the strength of the release, Blackbraid began a succession of sold out shows and would earn a spot opening the 2023 edition of the Decibel Magazine Tour bolstering a massive line-up that included Dark Funeral, Cattle Decapitation, and 200 Stab Wounds.
Now, Blackbraid has confirmed the second installment in the Blackbraid series with the confirmation of Blackbraid II due out July 7th. Along with the announcement of the album, Blakcbraid has offered a first glimpse of the Adrian Baxter-designed artwork along with the reveal of the full tracklisting.
Framing the totality of the creative impetus for Blackbraid, the second edition follows the same artistic MO. “Blackbraid is a solo indigenous black metal project from from the depths of the Adirondack wilderness creating music as raw and powerful as the mountains from whence it came…“
The news of Blackbraid II precedes the start of the Decibel Magazine Tour which kicks off next month in Southern California. The 23-date stretch will also conclude in Los Angeles with a finale on June 10th at the Regent Theater. Tickets for the tour can be found – HERE
