‘Wrong Generation’ from arrives on October 23rd and will be supported by a 6-date global virtual world tour
Fever 333 have announced a new collection of music set for an October 23rd release on Roadrunner Records and 333 Wreckords Crew.
The EP was the result of two weeks of protesting following the murder of George Floyd. Fever 333 frontman Jason Aalon Butler spent 13 days marching in the streets of Los Angeles demanding police reform and equal justice. From those frontlines, Butler would become inspired to write the music that would result in the band’s latest effort, Wrong Generation.
Butler explained the intention of the release. “This project is art as activism first. I’m talking about what’s happening and what needs to happen. I hope you understand there’s going to be pain in progress. After dismantling and deconstructing all of these things, we can find a beautiful place to be together. For me, this whole EP is that 13 days after 34 years. You fucked with the WRONG GENERATION.”
In support of the debut of Wrong Generation, Fever 333 has announced a multi-market live-streaming global tour that will feature six consecutive days worth of performances specific to certain regions in the World Tour for the Wrong Generation.
The ambitious nature of the tour will showcase proprietary audio technology boasting close to zero latency. Filmed in an immersive LED walled-room and paired with ultra-high-definition audio, the 32-bit technology ensures an innovative broadcast that will give fans a unique streaming experience set to transform the platform.
Butler discussion the upcoming tour. “We are so thankful for our allies from all over, so we wanted to find a way to give back to every part of the world that we were lucky enough to reach during our last album cycle. We want to offer a new type of LIVE experience during this pandemic period. Exclusivity to each region, actual live in the moment filming, no edits, utilizing a brand-new DIRECT audio feed, making each demo feels as live as possible in an era where the traditional live performance is seemingly unachievable. We feel we have a found a way that most closely achieves that essence in a way that has not yet been done.”
The tour will kick off with a London / European performance on October 23rd at 8:00PM BST. Additional performances include: October 24th 8:00PM PST (Los Angeles), October 27th7:00PM AEST (Sydney / Tokyo), October 28th 9:00PM EST (New York), October 29th 9:00PM MST (Moscow), and October 30th 8:00PM CST (Chicago / Mexico City).
