The broadcast will air on the band’s Youtube Channel starting Thursday March 10th at 2pm EST.
Arena occult sensation GHOST will celebrate the arrival of their fifth full length effort Impera this week with the announcement of a record release event that will stream via the band’s Youtube Channel a day before the March 11th drop date.
‘Live From The Ministry’ will serve as the band’s “record release ritual” and will showcase the 12-song collection in full.
The band’s fifth entry into their ambitious catalog sees Ghost immersed into a world hundreds of years ahead of the Black Plague-era European world of Prequelle. The 12-track collection of Impera details an expansive narrative that centers on the rise and eventual fall of empires in a body of work that is being referred to as the band’s “the most current and topical” to date.
Thus far the album has been revealed in a trio of impactful singles with the Halloween Kills-featured “Hunter’s Moon“, the arena anthem “Call Me Little Sunshine” and the most recent rouser “Twenties” all affirming what many believe to be a potential album of the year candidate.
Ghost recently completed their North American Arena tour with the final show of the 26-date stretch closing out in Anaheim, CA at the Honda Center alongside Volbeat and tour opener, Twin Temple.
The “record release ritual” for Impera will begin broadcasting on March 10th at 2pm EST via the band’s Youtube Channel. Impera officially arrives March 11th via Loma Vista Recordings. Pre-order the album – HERE
