The OGs of interstellar aggression in GWAR have announced plans to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their seminal Scumdogs of the Universe album with a massive U.S. trek that will include support from Napalm Death, Madball, and EyeHateGod.

The first portion of the “Scumdogs 30th Anniversary Tour” will commence September 16th with the decimation of their adopted hometown of Richmond, VA and will run through September 19th in Pittsburgh, PA. Both Madball and EyeHateGod will join GWAR fo the festivities. The run also includes the band’s bloody spectacle set to be unleashed at RiotFest.

The second stretch of tour will feature supporting sets from Napalm Death and EyeHateGod. This leg will also see GWAR lay the ‘Welcome to Rockville’ festival to waste as the band performs ‘Scumdogs of the Universe’ in its entirety.

GWAR’s throat in The Berserker Blóthar shared voiced the kind of excitement , “We’ve been saving it up, and we are ready to explode all over the face of this nation with a dazzling flood of chaotic shock rock load. But don’t even try to come to a show on this tour unless you are unvaccinated, covid positive and willing to submit to an enthusiastic rectal temperature check at the hands of our degenerate road crew.”

The news of the anniversary tour follows the recent release and subsequent sell out of their ‘Gwarantine’-inspired acoustic EP, ‘Disc With No Name’ that featured essentials like “Fuck This Place” and “I’ll Be Your Monster”. The EP’s physical copies quickly sold out but the digital version is currently available to stream – HERE.

During the live music hiatus brought on by the global pandemic, the band also unveiled a brand new Ragnarök Rye from Catoctin Creek Distillery and their “Bud of Gods” CBD collaboration with Consequence. Both are currently available for human consumption.

KNOTFEST.com VIP members will be able to access a special pre-sale starting June 17th before tickets for the Scumdogs 30th Anniversary Tour tickets become available for the general public starting on June 18th.
