Jesus Piece joins Century Media Records; reveals new music “An Offering to The Night”

Posted by Ramon Gonzales in News on December 5, 2022

The metallic hardcore phenoms set plans for 2023, including new music, a tour with Show Me the Body, and the launch of a collaboration with NYC-based clothing brand, Noah.

Metallic hardcore practitioners Jesus Piece have announced their next move as disruptors in the space of heavy music. The band has confirmed their signing with metal authority Century Media Records and to mark the union officially, the band has released their first showing of new material since their lauded 2018 debut, Only Self.

Fusing the confrontation of time-tested hardcore with the heavy riffage early 2000’s metalcore, “An Offering to The Night” showcases all of the volatility that has made Jesus Piece such a championed crew in hardcore. The combination of David Updike and John DiStefano on guitars, set to the crushing cadence of Luis Aponte on the beat, create an all out barrage that vocalist Aaron Heard completes with an unhinged spew.

The single begins the Century Media Records era for the band and throws down the gauntlet – establishing a punishing precedent for the kind musical hostility yet to come from Jesus Piece. Along with the single, the band have tapped director Eric Richter to capture the visual catharsis of the highly-explosive track.

Coinciding with the release of “An Offering To The Night”, Jesus Piece have teamed with NYC based fashion brand, Noah for a limited edition capsule. The collection includes a made in USA pleated jean, striped rugby, hoodie, skate deck, tote as well as long and short sleeve tees, all with various Jesus Piece logos and graphics. The collaboration capsule will be available online at noahny.com and in-store at Noah Flagship, DSM LA and London this Thursday,  December 8th.

Kicking off what will. no doubt be a formative year for Jesus Piece, the band will play a free, all-ages NYC show December 6th at Baby’s All Right to celebrate the launch of the limited edition capsule with Noah. A precursor for the busy year to come, Jesus Piece will set out in February of 2023 for an extensive North American tour with Show Me The Body, Scowl and ZULU.
