“In My Soul” details a convincing stanza of perseverance during a time when most people could really use a message of encouragement. The lyricist discussed the ethos of the track with Revolver saying, “‘In My Soul’ is a battle of triumph and failure, the will to keep going when everything or everyone around you wants to keep you down.
