The rescheduled State of Unrest UK trek will feature special guests, Kreator, They Art Is Murder and Gatecreeper.
While the world has started show signs of rotating back to some semblance of normacy, the world for touring artists is still includes very uncertain, complicated terrain.
Among a growing list of artists that have had to postpone international touring plans, Virginia groove metal powerhouse Lamb of God have announced that their State of Unrest trek of Europe and the UK will now be pushed back to late 2022.
The news of the rescheduled dates follows the news that Lamb of God will serve as one of the headliners of the UK’s Bloodstock Festival in 2022, taking place August 11-14 in Catton Park.
Despite the change in the itinerary for Lamb of God, the tour will keep it’s direct supporting act as thrash legends Kreator have confirmed they will stay on for the State of Unrest run. While Power Trip was initially slated to join the ranks, Aussie deathcore practitioners Thy Art Is Murder will now helm that slot. Last, kicking off nightly festivities will be emerging desert death destructors, Gatecreeper.
Lamb Of God continues to ride an impressive swell of momentum. The band recently completed the well-received co-headlining Metal Tour of the Year trek alongside generational thrash mainstays, Megadeth. The tour served as the band’s first opportunity to share live performances of tracks from their heralded 2020 self-titled release.
All tickets for the initial dates will remain valid for the newly rescheduled dates. Tickets for the 2022 State of Unrest tour are also currently available – HERE
