The online effort has all been to advance the announcement of the track, “Lost”, a previously unreleased track from the band’s Meteora sessions that will finally see the light of day this Friday, February 10th. The release of the unheard track coincides with the 20th anniversary of the band’s sophomore record, Meteora — an album that solidified Linkin Park’s rank as genre heavyweights.
The multi-platinum effort has since gone on to become one of the best-selling albums of the modern era and included some of the band’s most enduring hits like Somewhere I Belong”, “Faint”, “Numb”, and “Breaking the Habit”.
