Currently on the road in support of Dance Gavin Dance, Memphis May Fire is intently marching towards the June 3rd release date of their seventh full length studio effort on Rise Records with, Remade In Misery.
Further propelled by the strength and effectiveness of a succession of singles in “Blood & Water,””Bleed Me Dry,” “Somebody,” “Death Inside,” “The American Dream,” and the most recent cuts in “Make Believe” and the AJ Channer-assisted “Only Human” – the band has pulled no punches with their latest campaign.
Confirming their summer plans in support of the album, Memphis May Fire will embark on their own headlining run across the United States on the Remade In Misery Tour. The 30-date trek will include supporting sets from From Ashes to New, Rain City Drive and Wolves At the Gate.
Memphis May Fire in the meantime will continue their run with Dance Gavin Dance through the end of May, where the band will punctuate the tour with an appearance at Furnace Fest in Birmingham, AL. The Remade In Misery tour kicks off June 24th in North Carolina and wraps the first week of August in Nashville, TN.
Regarding the forthcoming album, the extended release schedule of singles and the outlook of the future, the band’s frontman Matty Mullins shares, “The last nine months have been such a refreshing journey for us. We knew that releasing singles for this long, without any news of an upcoming album, would come with challenges, but we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We’re finally at the point of announcing the entire body of work, and I can genuinely say we are just as excited now as the day the first single dropped.”
Mullins finishes, “Remade in Misery is undoubtedly a new season for MMF. We have truly rediscovered who we are as a band through these songs, and we can’t wait to bring them to life on upcoming tours.”
