The spring run will showcase songs from the band’s 2021 EP, ‘Ruthless’.
2021 proved to be a pivotal year for Florida nu-metal pushers Nonpoint. The band took on the ambitious task of launching their own label at the start of last year with 361 Degrees Records LLC. The band would go onto document the initiative with the series, A Path to Independence.
In the same year, the band would resume life on the road, logging miles with the “I’m About To Explode” Tour Pt. 1 with guests Saul, Dropout Kings, & Any Given Sin. Nonpoint would also take on supporting dates for the likes of Atreyu, Seether as well as festival appearances at Blue Ridge and Shiprocked to name a few.
Nonpoint would also release new music with their well-received Ruthless EP. The effort’s title track reached #16 on Billboard’s Rock chart and earned inclusion on some of the streaming biggest genre playlists. “Ruthless” was also the featured track on AEW’s “Blood And Guts” broadcast on TNT in May. Closing out the successful year, the band dropped their video for “Back In The Game” in December, punctuating a great charge for Nonpoint and a hint of the 2022 to come.
Harnessing all that momentum, the band have continued to tour relentlessly. Looking ahead, Nonpoint have now filled their dance card for the spring and summer with the announcement of their Taken Apart and Put Back Together tour, tapping VRSTY to serve as their special guest. The New York band just dropped their third effort, Welcome Home, via Spinefarm.
The tour kicks off May 20th with a sold out headlining show in Flint, Michigan, going back-to-back with a next day play with Black Label Society. The tour extends for another 22-dates before wrapping up June 25th in Cumberland, MD., at Rock the Mountains.
