In a recent feature via Metal Hammer the heavy metal forefather shard that he has needed music during the pandemic and revealed that he and producer Andrew Watt have been hard at work.

The living legend Ozzy Osbourne recently confirmed in a feature with Metal Hammer that he and producer Andrew Watt have been hard at work on the follow up to their early 2020 success with ‘Ordinary Man’.

The pioneering frontman spoke candidly about the significance music has had in the last two years, dealing with his recovery from a his accident in 2019 and then, navigating an arduous 2020 with the Covid-10 pandemic. Ozzy shared, “I’ve done 15 tracks,” he says. “It’s kept me alive you know. These past two years I’ve been in a terrible fucking state between the accident and then the pandemic. It’s kept me sane – I’ve needed the music.”

The confirmation of the 15-tracks are about the only details that were confirmed. The timeline, title, and remaining details of the album are still in the works but Ozzy does share that the light is now visible at the end of the tunnel. “I struggle a bit, but slowly but surely we’re getting there. My only concern right now is finishing the bloody thing. We’ve got the same production time as the last time, so there’s definitely going to be some similarities. But you’ll just have to wait and see what you think.”

Ozzy’s work with Andrew Watt resulted in the critically praised ‘Ordinary Man’ and earned Watt Producer of the Years honors for the most recent Grammy Awards.
