The stacked multi-generational line-up showcases a comprehensive collection of some of the most important names in rock music.
It would seem as though festival organizers are doing their damnedest to make up for the abyssal year without live music by curating some of the most impressive live line ups seen in years. Among the most recent offerings of what looks to be an incredible festival season is the unbelievable collection of artists assembled for Louisville’s Louder Than Life.
Set for September 23-26, 2021 at Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky the sixth installment of the now expanded four-day event will be headed by two nights and two unique sets from Metallica. Headlining the first night of the gathering, Korn will close out Thursday September 23rd and Nine Inch Nails will assume the closing duties on Saturday September 25th.
Festival product Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents offered the following of the jaw-dropping announcement. “DWP has always considered Louisville home, so to be able to bring America’s Biggest Rock Festival back in 2021 means everything to us. After a year filled with challenge after challenge, we worked incredibly hard to curate a lineup worth the wait for our fans.”
Wimmer detailed the second chances afforded in 2021, “Weather got in the way of Nine Inch Nails in 2018, the pandemic derailed our plans for two big Metallica sets in 2020 – so to have them both back for 2021, along with KORN and the rest of this incredible lineup over four days, that’s the kind of ‘new normal’ that we’re all looking forward to.”
The multi-generational collection of artists presents a comprehensive offering of some of the most important names in rock music. From legendary veterans to the leaders of a new class of exciting, emerging artists, Louder Than Life boats the kind of line up that has no holes. The current Louder Than Life line up is as follows.
