The Ross Robinson produced Lament arrives October 9th and offers a deluxe vinyl edition that includes a 72-page art book.

As the second offering from the band’s budding partnership with producer Ross Robinson (Slipknot/Korn/Deftones), Touché Amoré have announced their October full-length, Lament, with the first single from the record, “Limelight.”

The track features Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra and showcases a a hint of the first record since the band’s 2016 release, Stage Four. The fall full-length will serve as the band’s fifth studio release and the first with Robinson at the helm. The band released the stand alone single, “Deflector” as their first foray with Robinson last year.

The announcement also included the release of a deluxe vinyl edition that includes a 72-page collection of art and photography that functions as the visual companion to the record. Headed up by art director/designer Nick Steinhardt along with George Clarke, the book is a collection of imagery that works to compliment the lyrics and themes of Lament.

As for the song itself, Jeremy Bolm provided some insight. “When you’re connected to someone long enough, and you’ve both suffered losses and been there for one another, there’s an understanding and a beauty to the quiet moments. There’s a great line in Pulp Fiction when Uma Thurman boasts knowing when you’ve found someone really special, when you can just, ‘Shut the fuck up for a minute, and comfortably share silence.’
