The world’s only heavy metal themed late night talk show, Two Minutes to Late Night, has been cranking out quarantine covers and this week’s addition is one of the best.
Pooling the talents of Windhand’s Dorthia Cottrell, Darling’s Leanne Martz, Daughters keyboardist Lisa Mungo, and Cave In members Stephen Brodsky and J.R. Conners, the band performed a rendition of Type O Negative’s “Be My Druidess” from the classic record, October Rust.
The cover is the latest in a series that has featured a literal all-star cast of contributors taking on essential tracks from random favorites. From Rush to Misfits, from Kate Bush to Replacements, the song selection alone is enough to pique interest but the execution seals the deal.
