Hollywood Undead has released a provocative visual for the first track from the second volume of the band’s double album, New Empire.
“IDOL” is a potent combination of low-end rumble, stylishly dark synth, and clever wordplay that asserts that Undead continue to pave their own path. The track features a guest appearance from indie hip hop trailblazer, Tech N9ne.
New Empire Vol 1 & 2 was produced by Matt Good (ASKING ALEXANDRIA, SLEEPING WITH SIRENS). New Empire Vol. 1 dropped in February and established four singles in “Already Dead”, “Time Bomb”, “Heart Of A Champion” and “Nightmare”.
The record was supported with a European tour alongside Papa Roach and Ice Nine Kills but was ultimately cancelled as the pandemic began to force events everywhere to halt.
