The concert film features selections from the solo albums Skills and Pills and F & M in a 90-minute spectacle captured by 30 HD cameras.
Documenting what was one of the last grand-scale live music events on the planet prior to the pandemic shutdown, Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann has unveiled plans to release the historic concert film from Moscow’s VTB Arena on May 21st, 2021.
The film will feature the enigmatic frontman performing selections from his solo project in Lindemann, specifically playing selections from the project’s 2015 LP ‘Skills and Pills’ and the 2019 album, F & M. The concert DVD also serves as the final joint effort between Lindemann and since split collaborator, Peter Tägtgren.
“It was probably one of the very last concerts of the old era, the big party before the worldwide shutdown,” reads the official description. “On 15 March 2020, Lindemann played two triumphant concerts in Moscow’s VTB Arena. On 21 May 2021, the already historic evening from Moscow will be released as a concert film on DVD. The artwork was designed in the aesthetics of socialist realism.”
The concert was captured with 30 high-definition cameras in a 90-minute production that includes all of the spectacle that Lindemann has become synonymous with. The film arrives May 21st, 2021 and can be ordered – HERE.
