‘V/H/S/99’ (Shudder)
V/H/S/99 marks the return of the acclaimed found footage anthology franchise and the sequel to Shudder’s most-watched premiere of 2021. A thirsty teenager’s home video leads to a series of horrifying revelations. Featuring five new stories from filmmakers Maggie Levin (Into The Dark: My Valentine), Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down, Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City), Flying Lotus (Kuso), Tyler MacIntyre (Tragedy Girls) and Joseph & Vanessa Winter (Deadstream), V/H/S/99 harkens back to the final punk rock analog days of VHS, while taking one giant leap forward into the hellish new millennium.
‘The Stranger’ (Netflix)
A small circle of seasoned undercover cops must pose as a vast and influential criminal network to catch a murderer who has evaded conviction for eight years. One of them forms an intense, intimate relationship with the murder suspect while trying to earn his trust and elicit a confession.
‘Matriarch’ (Hulu)
Afflicted with a mysterious disease after surviving an overdose, a woman (Jemima Rooper) returns to her childhood home to confront her personal demons but instead discovers a real one. Written and directed by Ben Steiner, Matriarch is a family trauma body horror straight from the UK.
‘Unsolved Mysteries (Volume 3)’ (Netflix)
The iconic and gripping series returns with a three-week event featuring more unexplained deaths, baffling disappearances, and bizarre paranormal activity. Unsolved Mysteries Vol 3 is from the creators of the original docuseries, Cosgrove/Meurer Productions, and 21 Laps Entertainment, the producers of Stranger Things.
‘The Peripheral’ (Amazon Prime Video)
Set in the future when technology has subtly altered society, a woman (Chloe Grace Moretz) discovers a secret connection to an alternate reality as well as a dark future of her own.
‘28 Days Haunted’ (Netflix)
Four adventurous teams of paranormal investigators will be hand-picked and given the chance to participate in the most extreme Paranormal experiment of all time. If any of these teams can last 28 days in a terrifying, haunted location, they’ll gain acclaim and recognition for being a part of the most important advancement in paranormal research in the last several decades.
‘Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo!’ (HBO Max)
Mystery Inc. thinks that they can finally enjoy a break. Wrong! Menacing doppelgänger ghosts of the Scooby crew and favorite classic foes show up in Coolsville to threaten Halloween. Now it’s up to the meddling kids – and their unlikely new partner Coco – to unmask the latest scoundrel and save Halloween! For Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, with trick-or-treating on the line – this time it’s personal!
‘Torn Hearts’ (Amazon Prime Video)
Two friends, rising artists on the brink of a big break, will do just about anything to realize their dream – including a pilgrimage to the legendary and reclusive Harper Dutch’s (Katey Sagal) mansion in the hopes she’ll record a song with them. While their life-long idol seems intent to help, the visit devolves into a twisted series of mental and physical torment as the pair discover Harper – and each other – may have other motives. With no other choice and desperate to record a song, the duo must go to dangerous lengths to prove their dedication to their dream of becoming Nashville’s next country music stars.

Best friends Sophie and Agatha find their bond put to the test when they’re whisked away to a magical school for future fairy-tale heroes and villains.
‘The Green Glove Gang’ (Netflix)
After a failed robbery, the elusive gang of three noble thieves: Zuza, Kinga and Alicja hides in a quiet nursing home. While the police are on their heels, the gang continues their activities at the center, giving its elderly residents a second youth.

‘The House of the Dragon’ (HBO Max)
The reign of House Targaryen begins: House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, is here. Based on George R.R. ‘Little Demon’ (Hulu)
