‘Stranger Things (Season 4 – Volume 2)’ (Netflix)
The final two episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 have a combined runtime of nearly four hours – more like back to back movies than mere episodes. Volume 2 is sure to filled with the usual heart, terror and adventure dialed up as high as it can go. Fans around the world are waiting with dread and anticipation as the series gets closer to its conclusion (Season 5 is said to be the last) and less and less characters can be considered safe as they face off with the powerful Vecna. Get ready. It’s gonna be a doozy.
‘Only Murders in the Building (Season 2)’ (Hulu)
An unlikely trio (Selena Gomez, Martin Short, Steve Martin) become amateur true crime podcasters in hopes of solving the mysterious homicide that happened in their apartment building. After closing the case at the end of the first season, Mabel, Charles and Oliver become the suspects in a new murder that took place in the building — and the subjects of a new podcast hosted by their favorite host Cinda Canning (Tina Fey).
‘Westworld (Season 4)’ (HBO Max)
The fourth season of HBO’s mindbending sci-fi series has set the stage for a big war against humans as the now-sentient hosts have left the park and infiltrated the real world. They have an ax to grind after years of subjugation, but there are some hosts who don’t want to see a war and are trying to keep the peace.
‘The Terminal List’ (Amazon Prime Video)
Based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr, The Terminal List follows James Reece (Chris Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy Seals is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event, questions about his culpability and a newfound drive for vengeance.
‘The Princess’ (Hulu)
When a strong-willed princess (Joey King) refuses to wed the cruel sociopath (Dominic Cooper) to whom she is betrothed, she is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father’s castle. With her vindictive suitor intent on taking her father’s throne, the princess must save the kingdom.
‘Blasted’ (Netflix)
Blasted follows childhood friends Sebastian (Axel Bøyum) and Mikkel (Fredrick Skogsrud), who are reunited for Sebastian’s bachelor party. While Mikkel never matured past teenage laser tag-prodigy, Sebastian has grown into a career-obsessed workaholic who’s using the party to schmooze a potential client. But when the bachelor party stumbles head-first into an alien invasion, it’s up to Mikkel and Sebastian to reunite as the kick-ass lasertag duo they once were and fight back.
‘Last Night in Soho’ (HBO Max)
From visionary director Edgar Wright, Last Night in Soho follows Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie), an aspiring fashion designer, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters a dazzling wannabe singer, Sandie (Anya Taylor-Joy). But the glamour is not all it appears to be and the dreams of the past start to crack and splinter into something far darker. This psychological thriller may be a new turn for the English filmmaker, but is packed full of his signature style and musical flourish.
‘Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy’ (Netflix)
Modern civilization and the world was destroyed by the God of Destruction, Anthrasax, in 7 days, and then is sealed. Hundreds of years later, the sorcerer Dark Schneider leads a group in an attempt to control the world. Dark Schneider, in the end, is sealed in the body of a young baby, Rushe Ren Ren. 15 years later, his group, minus Scheider, attempts the same mission by unsealing Anthrasax so they can redo the world. To save the Kingdom of Metallicana, a girl named Yoko releases Dark Schneider from her friend Rushe. Now, Dark Schneider fights his former comrades, but not for good; he fights to protect Yoko, and to have some destructive fun.
‘They Live’ (Shudder)
John Carpenter’s 1988 sci-fi cult classic is now available to stream on the world’s premiere horror service, Shudder. Nada (Roddy Piper), a wanderer without meaning in his life, discovers a pair of sunglasses capable of showing the world the way it truly is. As he walks the streets of Los Angeles, Nada notices that both the media and the government are comprised of subliminal messages meant to keep the population subdued, and that most of the social elite are skull-faced aliens bent on world domination. With this shocking discovery, Nada fights to free humanity from the mind-controlling aliens.
‘Pirate Gold of Adak Island’ (Netflix)
In 1892 a pirate buried gold on Adak Island worth over $300,000,000. He died before he could return. Now, a team of skilled treasure hunters seeks to unearth the gold, but the island is riddled with live munitions. This reality adventure series will see the hunters journey far and wide in search of the treasure throughout its eight episodes.

‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ (Paramount+)
Paramount+ continues its all-in approach to the Star Trek universe with yet another series to add the franchise. This latest is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series will feature fan favorites from season two of Star Trek: Discovery. Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock. The series will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy. The first nine episodes are now streaming with the finale arriving next week.
‘The Boys (Season 3)’ (Amazon Prime Video)
It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s (Antony Starr) subdued. Butcher (Karl Urban) works for the government, supervised by Hughie (Jack Quaid) of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into The Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy. The first seven episodes are now streaming with the finale arriving next week.
‘Ms. Marvel’ (Disney+)
The latest Disney+ series to come from the mighty Marvel universe focuses on one of the comics’ newest heroes. Kamala (Iman Vellani) is a superhero fan with an imagination, particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel; Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home, that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s looked up to. The coming-of-age story is likely to pay off big in future installments for the MCU. The first four episodes are now streaming.
‘The Orville: New Horizons’ (Hulu)
Seth McFarlane’s sci-fi series finally returns with a move to Hulu just in time for its third season. Set 400 years in the future, New Horizons finds the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continuing their mission of exploration, as they navigate both the mysteries of the universe and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships. The first five episodes are now streaming.
‘For All Mankind (Season 3)’ (Apple TV+)
For All Mankind is a sprawling story that began with a provocative premise: What if the Russians landed on the moon first, before Americans? The space race never ended and the two Cold War foes only ramped up the competition to colonize the moon and beyond. Season 3 jumps ahead in this alternate history into the 90s, where Americans, Soviets, and a mysterious private company are all tussling over the future of mankind on Mars. ‘Irma Vep’ (HBO Max)
Mira (Alicia Vikander) is an American movie star disillusioned by her career and a recent breakup, who comes to France to star as “Irma Vep” in a remake of the French silent film classic, “Les Vampires.” Set against the backdrop of a lurid crime thriller, Mira struggles as the distinctions between herself and the character she plays begin to blur and merge. ‘Evil (Season 3)’ (Paramount+)
A new season of terror has arrived. Priest-to-be David Acosta (Mike Colter), forensic psychologist Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), and tech expert Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi) continue to investigate claims of demonic possession in a third season that’s stronger than ever. ‘Players’ (Paramount+)
From the Peabody Award-winning creators of American Vandal, Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault, Players is a comedic documentary-style series that follows a fictional pro League of Legends esports team, as they pursue their first championship after years of close calls and heartache. To win it all, they will need their prodigy, a 17-year-old rookie (Da’Jour Jones), and their 27-year-old veteran (Misha Brooks) to put their egos aside and work together.
