‘Trigger Point’ (Peacock)

‘Black Bird’ (Apple TV+)
After Jimmy Keene (Taron Egerton) is sentenced to 10 years in a minimum security prison without parole, he cuts a deal with the FBI to enter maximum-security prison for the criminally insane and befriend a suspected serial killer, Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser). Keene’s job is to elicit a confession from Hall in order to slam the door on Hall’s appeal and find the buried bodies of as many as eighteen women. But is Hall a serial killer? Or a serial confessor?
‘On the 3rd Day’ (Shudder)
While on a trip with her young son, Cecilia (Mariana Anghileri) has a car accident. Three days later, she finds herself wandering a lonely road with no sign of her child – and no memory of what happened since the crash. After a small town waitress (Kiersey Clemons) is sexually assaulted on a date, she meets Regina (Alexandra Shipp) and Beatrice (Vanessa Hudgens) and is recruited into their vigilante group of badass women. Together they strive to take down a society overpowered by gangs of corrupt men and seek the ultimate revenge while getting their own version of justice.
‘Ultrasound’ (Hulu)
After his car breaks down, Glen (Vincent Kartheiser) spends one hell of an odd night with a married couple, setting into motion a chain of events that alter their lives plus those of several random strangers.

‘The Long Walk’ (Shudder)
An old scavenger (Yannawoutthi Chanthalungsy) living on the fringes of a near-future society exploits a ghostly companion’s ability to traverse time, hoping to prevent his mother’s suffering from a terminal illness.
‘Warriors in the Field’ (Amazon Prime Video)
Directed by award winning director Professor Larissa Behrendt (Eualeyai, Kamillaroi), the documentary offers compelling insight that explores the deeply personal and poignant stories of three Indigenous AFL players and celebrates Aboriginal Australia and its association with the Australian Football League.

‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ (Paramount+)
Paramount+ continues its all-in approach to the Star Trek universe with yet another series to add the franchise. This latest is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series will feature fan favorites from season two of Star Trek: Discovery. Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock. The series will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy. ‘The Boys (Season 3)’ (Amazon Prime Video)
It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s (Antony Starr) subdued. Butcher (Karl Urban) works for the government, supervised by Hughie (Jack Quaid) of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into The Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy. ‘Ms. Marvel’ (Disney+)
The latest Disney+ series to come from the mighty Marvel universe focuses on one of the comics’ newest heroes. Kamala (Iman Vellani) is a superhero fan with an imagination, particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel; Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home, that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s looked up to. The coming-of-age story is likely to pay off big in future installments for the MCU. The first five episodes are now streaming with the finale arriving next week.
‘The Orville: New Horizons’ (Hulu)
Seth McFarlane’s sci-fi series finally returns with a move to Hulu just in time for its third season. Set 400 years in the future, New Horizons finds the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continuing their mission of exploration, as they navigate both the mysteries of the universe and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships. The first six episodes are now streaming.
‘For All Mankind (Season 3)’ (Apple TV+)
For All Mankind is a sprawling story that began with a provocative premise: What if the Russians landed on the moon first, before Americans? The space race never ended and the two Cold War foes only ramped up the competition to colonize the moon and beyond. Season 3 jumps ahead in this alternate history into the 90s, where Americans, Soviets, and a mysterious private company are all tussling over the future of mankind on Mars. ‘Irma Vep’ (HBO Max)
Mira (Alicia Vikander) is an American movie star disillusioned by her career and a recent breakup, who comes to France to star as “Irma Vep” in a remake of the French silent film classic, “Les Vampires.” Set against the backdrop of a lurid crime thriller, Mira struggles as the distinctions between herself and the character she plays begin to blur and merge. ‘Evil (Season 3)’ (Paramount+)
A new season of terror has arrived. Priest-to-be David Acosta (Mike Colter), forensic psychologist Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), and tech expert Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi) continue to investigate claims of demonic possession in a third season that’s stronger than ever. ‘Players’ (Paramount+)
From the Peabody Award-winning creators of American Vandal, Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault, Players is a comedic documentary-style series that follows a fictional pro League of Legends esports team, as they pursue their first championship after years of close calls and heartache. To win it all, they will need their prodigy, a 17-year-old rookie (Da’Jour Jones), and their 27-year-old veteran (Misha Brooks) to put their egos aside and work together. ‘Only Murders in the Building (Season 2)’ (Hulu)
An unlikely trio (Selena Gomez, Martin Short, Steve Martin) become amateur true crime podcasters in hopes of solving the mysterious homicide that happened in their apartment building. After closing the case at the end of the first season, Mabel, Charles and Oliver become the suspects in a new murder that took place in the building — and the subjects of a new podcast hosted by their favorite host Cinda Canning (Tina Fey). ‘Westworld (Season 4)’ (HBO Max)
The fourth season of HBO’s mindbending sci-fi series has set the stage for a big war against humans as the now-sentient hosts have left the park and infiltrated the real world. They have an ax to grind after years of subjugation, but there are some hosts who don’t want to see a war and are trying to keep the peace. The first two episodes are now streaming.
