One of metal music’s most prolific contributors revisits his complete discography

For context, when Blasko released his first record with Cryptic Slaughter in 1986, he wasn’t legally able to vote yet. The veteran musician is likely best known for his contributions to bands like Rob Zombie and Ozzy Osbourne, however his career began when he was just a teenager. Since then, Blasko has worked with everyone from Danzig to Zakk Wylde all while diversifying in the field by venturing into music management with bands like Black Veil Brides.

The newest installment of The Disc Dive with Ryan J. Downey explores Blakso’s prolific resume and puts into the context the climate of underground music in the early years. The illuminating conversation frames just how progressive the scene was during it’s infancy with Blasko providing a first hand account.
